The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Babst can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To the Babst Family: I am the niece of Shirley Shelton and lived with Lou and Jim (Mr. and Mrs. "B") with my roommate Jan during the WVC school year of 1974 - 75. I have kept in touch with Lou all of these years. My Christmas card to her came back and I just said "Ohhhhhhh" out loud. She was a good friend and I loved our correspondence over the years and her Christmas letters. I had been in touch with Donnie asking about his Mom the last couple of years and was so shocked by his sudden death. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you in your losses this year. Wishing each of you healing, comfort and peace.
