Obituary for Richard J. Ehrenberg

Richard J. Ehrenberg
Richard James Ehrenberg, 81, of Wenatchee, WA, went to be with Jesus on May 7,
2017, in the presence of his loving family. Richard was born in Mobridge, SD,
on September 30, 1935. He married the love of his life, Shirley Herrala, on
June 29, 1962.

In 1983, after a 30 year career with the J. C. Penney Co., they moved from the
Midwest to the Wenatchee Valley. In 1989, they established Miniblinds &
More Window & Floor Coverings. Upon their retirement, the business was
sold to the current owners. Richard loved the Lord deeply, and was a blessing
to his family that he so dearly loved, and of whom he was so very proud.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley; and children: Devonne
(Scott) Higgins, Marlys (Scott) Taylor, Rick (Kimberly) Ehrenberg;
grandchildren: Andrew and Riley Taylor, and Joshua and Isaac Ehrenberg. He is
also survived by his siblings: Marjorie (George) Moen, Ronald (MaeEllen)
Ehrenberg, Karen (John) Lipp, Wayne (Shelly) Ehrenberg; along with many nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by two infant daughters: Denise Joy and
Dianne Marie; and his parents, Paul and Dorothy Ehrenberg.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 26, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at
Sage Hills Church, 1601 Fifth Street, Wenatchee, WA. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations can be made to Sage Hills Church, or to Central Washington
