Douglas R. Scaramozzino
Douglas "Doug" Scaramozzino passed away at his home in Wenatchee
November 10, 2017. He was born in Spokane, Washington on August 4,
1948, then moved to Coronado, Ca, where he was raised. Doug graduated
from Coronado High School in 1966. After working for a time on a
commercial tuna boat, Doug moved back to the Wenatchee Valley where
he worked in the fruit industry. Doug met his wife Randi and they raised
their four children. Doug and Randi then moved to Arizona where Doug
learned diesel mechanics, then again returned to the Wenatchee Valley
and worked for various repair shops before opening Doug's Diesel
Repair. Doug liked fishing, traveling and never turned down a chance to
debate politics, religion or anything else you wanted to talk about. He
loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and enjoyed watching
them grow.
He is survived by his older brother James; his sister Maria; His wife
Randi, and his children, Jeremy, Joshua, Jenny and James and their
supporting partners. His grandchildren, Killion, Alex, Cameron, Emily,
Ethan, Caden, Oliver, Maggie, Lilie, Kyla, and Odin. Also numerous,
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service for
Doug will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Sage Hills
Church with a reception to follow. Please feel free to visit Doug’s Memorial
