Entiat, Washington
Grant Roundy 82, a lifelong resident of the Entiat Valley passed away Sunday March 25, 2018. He was born March 27, 1935 to Earl and Edna Roundy .
Grant enjoyed spending time in the Entiat Valley haying and driving tractor. He loved the outdoors and drove many miles in the hills looking for deer and any other wildlife he came across. He took great pleasure in working with horses and they were a huge part of his life. Grant never knew a stranger; talked and told stories to anyone he met.
He married Julia Carter December 29, 1973 in Brewster.
Marrianne Crossman became his significant other in 1996.
Survivors include his children Denise Burkenpas (Dick) and Russell Roundy; stepchildren Betty Clark (Myron) and Chuck Carter; great granddaughter Amber Melton (Josh); significant other Marianne Crossman and her children Tammy Donaghue (Jim), Pam Searles (Bill), and Sandy Solorza (Armando); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Earl and Edna Roundy; wife Julia Roundy; daughter in law Kelly Roundy; stepdaughter Janet Foreman; and his brother Rush Roundy.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Entiat Cemetery on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. A gathering will follow at the Entiat Grange. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Entiat Fire Department in his name. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Valley, Wenatchee.
